Why work with me?
As a book strategist, I’m more than a coach or editor—I’m a strategic thought partner. Why does that matter?
My clients don’t just want to publish—they want to contribute. They don’t need hand-holding or “book formula” hype. They know that execution matters.
They need clarity to see how to translate their vision, message and body of experience with a book. They need someone to ask them better questions. They need a partner who’s willing and able to challenge them to write a book that gets noticed and makes the impact they hope to see.
That’s me.
Before launching my editorial and consulting practice, I spent years working in advertising and content strategy—shaping narratives, guiding teams of writers, and helping companies connect ideas with audiences through writing that sways minds and hearts. That experience and expertise grounds my approach in both professional rigor and human understanding.
My stint as an in-house copy director also gave me a great wardrobe and some crazy war stories which I sometimes spill.
When I finally sat down to write the book that had been haunting me, I learned this humbling truth: clarity doesn’t come from cranking out more pages. It comes from asking better questions.
That discovery led me to train with the some of the industry’s best: Shawn Coyne, founder of Story Grid, and Jennie Nash, CEO of Author Accelerator. As a Certified Story Grid Editor and nonfiction book coach, I leverage what I’ve learned to help others get their books out of their heads and into the world.
What draws me to this work is simple: I believe books can change lives—starting with my client’s. A great book doesn’t just build credibility or visibility. It helps clarify what really matters and is part of the legacy they leave behind.
If you’re ready to write your great nonfiction book, I’d be honoured to help you make it real.
